MBABANE – Eswatini’s swimmer Siwakhile Dlamini, currently on a World Aquatics Scholarship at Bond University in Australia, has been elected to the World Aquatics Athletes’ Committee, marking a major milestone in her sporting career. She recently received a scholarship renewal, allowing her to continue her training and studies in Australia.
Siwakhile’s election to the Athletes’ Committee is a testament to her dedication both in and out of the pool. Her experience on the international stage, combined with her ongoing development at Bond University, positions her to represent athletes’ interests effectively at the global level.
In a congratualtory statement the World Aquatics has extended their heartfelt congratulations to Dlamini, citing that her leadership and dedication will bring valuable contribution to the sport of Aquatics.
“On behalf of the World Aquatics, it is our pleasure to warmly congratulate you on your election to the Word Aquatics Athletes Committee. You were elected by your peers during the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore 2025 to represent Swimming Africa.
