KWALUSENI — His Majesty King Mswati III has inspired Eswatini’s young graduates to seize opportunities in the entertainment industry as a pathway to economic growth and global recognition.

He delivered this empowering message during the 43rd University of Eswatini (UNESWA) Graduation Ceremony held at the Kwaluseni Campus, where the nation celebrated the outstanding achievements of the Class of 2024/25.

Addressing the graduates, His Majesty highlighted UNESWA’s newly constructed modern classroom and a state-of-the-art content hub, equipped with both a TV and radio station. These facilities are designed to nurture local talent and provide a strong platform for young Emaswati to develop their skills and shine on international stages.

“I hope and believe that on my next visit, we will see artists produced by these content hubs, because celebrities must be created in this Kingdom to go out into the global stage,” His Majesty said.

He emphasized that the entertainment industry is one of the most lucrative sectors globally, capable of producing significant financial returns. His Majesty noted that with dedication and creativity, young entrepreneurs in the sector can achieve extraordinary success, even from their first production. He encouraged the graduates to take the industry seriously, pointing out that it has the potential to produce future billionaires within the Kingdom.

His Majesty further urged the youth to view the content hub and related initiatives as a springboard for entrepreneurship and innovation. By doing so, they would not only secure personal success but also contribute to the growth and diversification of Eswatini’s economy.

With these cutting-edge facilities and forward-thinking programs, UNESWA graduates are now better equipped than ever to enter the creative industries. His Majesty’s message resonated strongly with students, parents, and faculty, reinforcing the Kingdom’s vision of producing skilled, relevant, and globally competitive graduates ready to shape the nation’s future.
