FREE TRANSPORT TO MBOMBELA FOR SIHLANGU vs CAMEROON MATCH FULL

MBABANE – There was a mad rush for the free transport for fans to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers match between the National team, Sihlangu and Cameroon.

The fans were only provided a 60 seater but 30 minutes after the Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affair Bongani Nzima have announced the good news on Monday during the teams farewell function, it was full.

The fans will leave the country at lunch time for the 6pm kick-off at Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit and they will return home after the match, thanks to the 24 hours service at the Ngwenya Border Post.

Sihlangu is hosting Cameroon at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday (March 19, 2025) in Group D of the qualifiers and they will be back in action on Sunday when the hosts Mauritius at the same venue, kick-off 3pm.

The National Supporters Committee (NSC) Chairman Madlakadlaka Dladla said registration was done at the first come; first serve basis and the supporters were quick to respond.

Sihlangu Croatian Coach Zdravko Logarusic is still searching for his first win as head coach, having collected just two points from his first six games at the helm as his side failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Cameroon who are under Marc Brys’ lead the way in group of Confederation of African Football (CAF) qualifying after picking up eight points from their opening four matches, Libya (2nd), Cape Verde (3rd) and Angola (4th) are breathing down their necks also seeking to secure a spot in the World Cup.
