MBABANE– Gospel lovers are in for a divine encounter as renowned Eswatini worship leader Gabriel Dlamini prepares to host his much-anticipated live recording titled “Intimate Moments With God” on October 25, 2025, at Eagle’s Wings Ministries, Mbabane.
Known for his powerful worship sessions and heartfelt ministry, Gabriel Dlamini is a passionate Christian worship leader, singer-songwriter, and dynamic live performer whose music continues to touch lives across Southern Africa. Once recognized as a skilled drummer who worked with both local and international artists, Gabriel has evolved into a captivating vocalist and worship leader whose songs carry deep messages of faith, covenant, and devotion.
Speaking about the inspiration behind Intimate Moments With God, Dlamini shared that the vision was born from his personal journey of worship and spiritual reflection.
“The title Intimate Moments with God comes from a deep personal place,” he said. “Over time I have realized the significance of the presence of God and what His presence comes with. The Lord has been helping me understand the value of fellowship with Him more than receiving things from Him. All the benefits come in the time set apart for Him.”
He went on to explain that the event is not just another concert but a sacred experience designed to draw people closer to God.
“Some of the most powerful encounters I’ve had with God didn’t happen on a big stage, but in quiet moments of surrender and intimacy,” he explained. “I felt many people are longing for that, not just another event, but a space to really connect with God beyond the surface. That’s how Intimate Moments With God was born.”
The live recording will also feature Tenele Shongwe, one of Eswatini’s celebrated worship leaders. The duo will perform a soul-stirring song titled “Unami.”
“Tenele Shongwe is one of the great authentic worshippers I have met,” said Dlamini. “While I was writing the song, I could hear her voice through the music. I believe there will be a great move of God as she sings, emphasizing the power of His presence in our lives.”
Choosing Eagle’s Wings Ministries as the venue, Dlamini said it was a deliberate decision to foster unity in the body of Christ.
“Eagle’s Wings Ministries is one of the great worship hubs in the country,” he noted. “The heart of the ministry aligns with what Intimate Moments With God is about. I believe so much in the power of collaboration in the body of Christ.”
As anticipation builds, Dlamini emphasized that the focus remains on God’s presence rather than performance.
“We are really believing God for His presence, a great encounter with Him,” he shared. “This is not just a live recording or concert, but we are expectant of the presence of God. Healing, provision, and direction are all found in His presence.”
For Dlamini, creating an intimate space with God through music starts with surrender.
“I never approach a song just to write or perform,” he said. “I start by spending time in His presence, allowing the lyrics and melodies to flow from that place of communion. Music becomes my language of worship, my way of expressing love, gratitude, and dependence on God.”
As Eswatini continues to rise as a hub for inspirational gospel talent, Gabriel hopes that Intimate Moments With God will serve as a source of healing and renewal.
“It is my desire that there is a genuine experience of God’s presence that brings healing and restoration,” he concluded. “After all the tough seasons we’ve faced, from loss to brokenness, I hope people will go back home feeling God’s love and deep peace.”
