MBABANE – Professional golfer James Pennington is among the 68 professional golfers set to compete in the NTT DATA Pro-Am Pre-Qualifier.
The one-day tournament will be played on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Montagu Golf Course, Fancourt, South Africa. Pennington is the only Liswati who has entered the qualifiers under the Sunshine Tour.
About 10 golfers who finish at the top will qualify to play in the main tournament.
The main tournament will be played over four rounds, starting from Thursday to Sunday (February 13 to 16, 2025) at the Montagu Golf Course, Fancourt, Outeniqua Golf Course, Fancourt, and The Links, Fancourt, South Africa.
According to sunshinetour.com, the tournament is sponsored to the tune of E7 million, and the defending champion is David Ravetto.
Meanwhile, the Montagu Golf Course, where the tournament will be played, further cements Fancourt’s status as South Africa’s premier golf resort. The venue features three highly-rated championship golf courses, as well as the Western Cape’s premier 18-hole public course.
