EZULWINI – Self-taught DJ Wiz teams up with Pitch Deep for an unforgettable night of music
It’s about to get loud and groovy in Eswatini! Self-taught spin master DJ Wiz, real name Philiswa Collin Lukhele, is gearing up for one of the biggest nights of his career as he joins forces with his longtime friend Pitch Deep to form a new dynamic duo, Groove Gangsters.
Having started his DJ journey in 2022, DJ Wiz has been turning tables and turning heads ever since. From his humble beginnings using Virtual DJ, he has grown into a full-fledged performer rocking CDJs at some of the country’s hottest entertainment spots. “I’m self-taught and driven. I know what I want and the direction I’m facing,” he said confidently.
Wiz has performed at a variety of venues, proving his versatility and growing reputation across Eswatini. His gigs include popular hangouts such as Scandza Rest & Bar in Siphofaneni, Mdzimba View Shisanyama and Polar Park Guest Lodge in Ezulwini, The Hive, Mvwakwelitje, and River View in Mbabane, The XChange Lounge in Fairview, and Mpaka Recreational Club.
His journey took an exciting turn when he met Pitch Deep at Mvwakwelitje in 2022. What began as a casual connection quickly evolved into a creative partnership. “We’ve known each other for years, and this year we decided to take our friendship to the next level by forming Groove Gangsters,” Wiz shared.
The duo is set to make their official debut at the Eswatini Celebs Fundraising Show on November 22nd, an event that promises to be a night to remember.
