MBABANE – Locals from Hlatsi and surroundings get ready to experience a plethora of talent as the Hlatsi Talent Show returns to Manyikinya Hall on July 27, 2024, from 9am.
The talent show aims to showcase creativity and artistic expression, while raising funds.
The chairperson of Hlatsi Talent Show, Nkosinathi Simelane urges the public to support their fundraising drive for a sound system, which will enable them to showcase and amplify local talent more effectively.
The show promises to be a cultural explosion, showcasing a diverse array of performers and artists, including musicians, poets, and dancers, all eager to share their creativity and passion.
With a wide range of performance by Melody Mayaba, Sk the Rapper, Jiza Jiza, Comfort da Poet, Mk Loongsta, the event promises to be a memorial one.
Supporting artist like Nks Music, Ithiomagi, Zwifyaah Music, Young E young E, Mfg ya x- Jay Nicky R, Thirtee and Swazi Rapkin, Danger KD, Micky S, Elliege De Baby, H Town, Suffocate De Rapper, GG The poet, Khawu The poet, Tandzi the poet will take the stage.
Dripline and Cebo dancers will also keep the attendees entertained through their dance moves.
The diverse line-up of performers, the event serves as a platform to nurture and celebrate the cultural richness of Hlatsi, while creating a sense of community among its residents.
The local municipal authorities of Hlatsi have taken the initiative to support artistic endeavours in the area by offering the Manyikinya Hall as a venue for the monthly Hlatsi Talent Show.
This is a significant step in encouraging artistic expression and cultural enrichment in the region, which was further amplified by the attendance from Eswatini TV and Arts and Culture at the previous event on June 29.
Attendees can experience local talent by an admission fee of E10.
