IMPROVED ROAD BOOSTS ACCESS AND EMERGENCY SERVICES IN MANTAMBE-MASIPHULA COMMUNITIES

MBABANE – The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has completed the regravelling of the 16km Mantambe – Masiphula (D49) road, marking a significant milestone in enhancing transportation and connectivity in the region.

The upgraded road will dramatically improve access for several key institutions and communities, ensuring smoother travel even during adverse weather conditions.

The road improvements will benefit vital locations including Mantambe High School, Shiselweni 1 Inkhundla Centre, and the Mgazini Nazarene Clinic, as well as numerous communities such as Masiphula, Manyandzeni, Sivule, Hhuhhuma, and Mabonabulawe Royal Kraal. This project will also make it easier for emergency services to reach these areas, providing a critical lifeline for residents in times of need.

With improved road conditions, local communities can look forward to enhanced mobility, greater access to education and healthcare, and increased safety in emergencies. The regravelling of the D49 road represents a positive step forward in the region’s development, promising a brighter, more connected future for all.
