INCWALA, A GOOD MARKETING VEHICLE FOR ESWATINI – MINISTER

LOBAMBA – Incwala Ceremony is one of the good marketing vehicles for Eswatini.

This was said today by Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Jane Mkhonta-Simelane. She said this at Ludzidzini Royal Residence when she welcomed visitors from the African continent and overseas.

The Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs had set up its stand just at the second entrance of the Ludzidzini Royal Residence. In the stand, people, including tourists from other countries and Emaswati, were encouraged to visit, so that they could learn more about the culture of Eswatini.

This is where the minister was welcoming most of the tourists from other countries. She said Incwala was good in that it gave them an opportunity to share more good things that the country had, which the tourists would be allowed to experience. She said this would enable the tourists to share their experiences with others in their respective countries, resulting in many tourists wanting to visit Eswatini.

Meanwhile, tourists from Botswana shared with this publication that they had a good experience visiting this country during Incwala. They said they enjoyed every bit of the event and they definitely planned to come back during the event next year.

Phatsimo Kenosinyana and Sekao Gosalamang they attended the ceremony for the first time and they were impressed with the treatment they got from Emaswati. They said they were definitely coming back next year. They said in Botswana, they did not have an event of the same nature and that was another reason why they planned to come back next year.
