MBABANE – Inter Milan are through to the final of the Champions League after ousting Barcelona 7-6 aggregate in one of the best semi-final ever seen in the tournament.
The Italian (Seria A) side now awaits one between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Arsenal. PSG and Arsenal are set for a showdown tonight at 9pm in the second semi-final of the tournament to be played at The Parc des Princes, France.
PSG goes to the game leading 1-0 after their victory in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium last week Tuesday.
The finals of the Champions League are set for May 31, at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan and Barcelona played a 3-all draw in regular time, same score they played in the first leg. Inter Milan equalized with only two minutes remaining before full time and they forced the match to go to extra time.
They then scored the winner in the first half of extra-time and Barcelona failed to equalize despite dominating the match.
Barcelona can now go back and focus on winning the LaLiga as they are leading Real Madrid with four points with four games remaining. Barcelona will face Real Madrid on Sunday (May 11, 2025) in the El Clasico in a game that they need a win to put one hand on the he LaLiga trophy.
