MBABANE — Swazi Plaza Nights is set to return on Friday, 28 November 2025, with a dynamic entertainment line-up that promises to deliver an energetic and memorable start to the weekend.
Held at the bustling Swazi Plaza Food Court, the monthly lifestyle event has rapidly become one of Mbabane’s most popular Friday-night attractions, known for blending live music, great cuisine and a vibrant social atmosphere.
The upcoming edition will feature three leading acts, each bringing a distinct sound and presence to the much-loved stage.
Headline performer iYA, the rising soulful singer-songwriter, has been capturing national attention with her emotive musical style. She recently released her debut album, I Feel Deeply, produced alongside celebrated Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Manana, her long-time collaborator. Her performance is expected to deliver a warm, intimate and moving experience, making her appearance one of the night’s most eagerly awaited highlights.
Taking over the decks will be Uncle Karly, a versatile DJ celebrated for his seamless command of multiple genres. Known for curating expressive musical journeys, Uncle Karly effortlessly blends soulful house, amapiano, R&B and afro-fusion to craft the perfect ambience. His set is expected to anchor the evening with a polished, crowd-pleasing repertoire.
Adding further energy to the programme is Twanas, a consistently popular performer whose high-tempo, feel-good sets have earned him a loyal following. Twanas is expected to keep the momentum high throughout the night, ensuring a lively and engaging atmosphere for revellers as the event moves deeper into the evening.
Complementing the featured acts will be performances from the Swazi Plaza resident DJs, who will guide attendees from relaxed early-evening tracks to upbeat night-time grooves, maintaining the event’s signature blend of music and community engagement.
Entry to Swazi Plaza Nights remains free of charge, ensuring the event is accessible to both locals and visitors seeking a relaxed yet vibrant end to the working week. Guests are encouraged to arrive ready to “bring their appetite and their dancing shoes”, as the Food Court will be fully operational, offering a wide selection of meals, snacks and beverages throughout the event.
