MBABANE – Young CEO Braa J gears up to unite artists through celebration and creativity.
A new wave of entertainment is brewing in Eswatini!Manqoba Ignitius Simelane, popularly known as Braa J or IMS Production, is setting the stage for something big, the Fun Day Festival, organized by his company, Jabulani Entertainment. The multi-talented CEO is on a mission to empower and promote upcoming artists while bringing fun and unity to the entertainment scene.
Based in Sitibeni, Mbabane, Jabulani Entertainment was established in March 2025 and has since been a creative home for young and ambitious talents. The name “Jabulani”, meaning be happy, was inspired by his parents and symbolizes joy, optimism, and purpose. “My parents said, ‘Let’s be happy,’ and that’s how Jabulani was born,” shared Braa J.
Before founding his company, Braa J worked on several local events, including artist promotion shows at Nkoyoyo Bus Rank, where he built strong relationships with talents such as Elbee (Bhaletho Ngcamphalala), Supaphly, and MicPiggy. His platform quickly gained recognition for providing free artist promotion, especially for musicians previously under Lufafa Records.
The upcoming Fun Day Festival promises to be a celebration of music, art, and youth empowerment. Jabulani Entertainment aims to collaborate with local stars like Young Zesh, Cool Drop, and Lyrical Busta, while also setting sights on cross-border collaborations with South African heavyweights like Nasty C, A-Reece, Duncan, and Musiholiq, the same artists who inspired Braa J’s vision.
