JU/HOANSI TRIBE TO SHARE CULTURE AND HISTORY WITH EMASWATI

MBABANE – Here is an opportunity to learn, have fun, and explore the culture and traditions of the Ju/Hoansi (Khoisan) tribe from Botswana.

This tribe will be at the Mavuso Exhibition Trade Centre on July 18–2024.

As the excitement builds for the upcoming educational open lecture, the personal assistant to Lutfo Dlamini, Temlandvo Matsebula, has confirmed the event which is scheduled for 9 am.

According to Matsebula, the event will offer the opportunity to engage with the Ju/Hoansi by asking questions about their lifestyles.

Other exciting activities, such as car spinning, school quizzes, and children’s games, will be part of the event.

The upcoming event has been organised by the Philani Maswati Charity Organisation in collaboration with Arts and Culture.

According to a memorandum signed by the Deputy Regional Education Officer DR Sibongile  Khumalo- Zwane urged schools to participate, emphasising the value of hands-on learning experiences.

It is important to note that the Ju/Hoansi Tribe is significant in Eswatini’s Social Studies curriculum, and their visit provides students with a unique and immersive educational opportunity.
