MBABANE – His Majesty King Mswati III has departed for the United Arab Emirates to attend the World Government Summit, where global leaders are set to discuss governance, development, and emerging global challenges.
Accompanied by Inkhosikati LaMahlangu, the King will join heads of state, policymakers, and industry leaders at the summit, which serves as a platform for shaping innovative governance strategies and fostering international cooperation. The event will focus on key issues such as digital transformation, economic resilience, and sustainable development.
Following the summit, the King will proceed to Ethiopia for the African Union (AU) Summit. At the continental gathering, he is expected to engage with fellow African leaders on pressing regional and economic matters, with discussions likely to revolve around peace and security, economic integration, and Africa’s development agenda.
His Majesty’s participation in these high-level summits underscores Eswatini’s commitment to global and continental cooperation, positioning the country to benefit from strategic partnerships and initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable growth and development.
