LOBAMBA – In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, His Majesty King Mswati III has honoured His Holiness Unyazi Lwezulu Shembe with a traditional gift of five cows, following his spiritual visit and prayers for the nation. An additional cow, known as umnikelo wempepho (offering for incense), was also included in the royal gift.
The symbolic handover was conducted by Prince Gcina at Esabelweni, reflecting the nation’s deep respect and gratitude for the spiritual leader’s presence and blessings. The visit of His Holiness was warmly received across Eswatini, and this royal offering underscores the strong ties between faith and tradition.
This gesture not only celebrates the unity between Eswatini and the Nazareth Baptist Church, but also reinforces the nation’s rich culture of honouring guests who uplift the spiritual well-being of the people.
