LEOPARD REMAIN TOP OF THE TABLE DESPITE GOAL-LESS DRAW AGAINST SWALLOWS

MBABANE – Royal Leopard remain top of the table despite their goal-less draw against Mbabane Swallows on Wednesday evening at Mavuso Sports Centre.

They top the table with 46 points after 20 games and they were boasted by Green Mamba’s loss to Nsingizini Hotspurs who won with a 1-0 win over second placed Green Mamba at Simunye Sports Ground on Wednesday.

Royal Leopard are on the verge of securing their second trophy after snatching the Ingwenyama Cup, beating Moneni Pirates 1-0 in the finals played on April 6, 2025 at Somhlolo National Stadium.

Meanwhile, Green Mamba let go a chance of taking the top spot after their 0-1 defeat by Nsingizini Hotspurs in a match played at Simunye Sports Ground on Wednesday. They remained second with 42 points after 20 matches played, with six remaining.

Another game played on Wednesday saw Mbabane Highlanders winning 3-2 over relegation candidate Madlenya FC while Rangers beat Illovo 3-2. Both these matches were played at Mkhuzweni Technical Centre.

Moneni Pirates also got to the top four after their 2-1 win over Manzini Sea Birds in the Manzini derby.

Meanwhile, this evening Young Buffaloes are in action with Sidvwashini United at Mayaluka Stadium while Ezulwini United will be against Sisonkhe at Mhlume Stadium, both games to start t 3pm.
