MBABANE – Businessman Lincoln Motsa has since been appointed as Chairman of the Citizens Economic Empowerment Council.
Motsa was appointed together with eight other members today by Minister of Commerce,Industry and Trade Mancoba Khumalo.
It is said the Council’s mandate includes the development of strategies and programs to support MSMEs, advocacy for policy reforms, and the creation of an enabling environment for businesses to thrive. It will also be responsible for tracking the impact of the act, identifying challenges, and recommending necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.
The council is as follows:
