MBABANE – A local Kota eatery, Berachah kitchen makes a name for itself on the international scene.
CEO of the Kota Festival recognised the restaurant’s innovative approach, announcing visit on Friday (July 19, 2024).
The kitchen takes on the unique South African street food, capturing the hearts and taste buds of locals and internationals alike.
The spokesperson of Berachah kitchen, Siyabonga Mavimbela confirmed the international recognition. According to him, the recognition is a significant milestone for the Kota kitchen.
He said they looked forward to the upcoming Kota business workshop on July 20, 2024 whereby Emaswati would be educated about the Kota Industry, Berachah kitchen will grab the opportunity and partake.
Mavimbela urged Emaswati to be part of the workshop as they will learn ways to do business as Kota is rare in the country and the gap needs to be filled.

The kota workshop will prepare aspiration Kota business owners for the upcoming kota festival that will take place on September 28 2024 at Manzini Country Club.
Kota festival is an international jam pack show, featuring artists, but kota being the main focus of the day. Kids section is slso available and it includes giant slides, jumping castle, Play stations, bumpy rides, rock climbing to list a few.
Early bird tickets are limited and available at the Computicket. Admission for children cost E50, students E60, adult E80 and VIP tickets E400 which includes parking & backstage experience. Tickets will not be sold at the gate.
Camping chairs are allowed and hubbly is not allowed as they will be available for hire at the venue.
Kotas, refreshments and snacks will be sold by vendors.

Berachah kitchen started in March 27, 2024, as a small kiosk at Regent business school and quickly won over the hearts and appetites of locals.
That lead to the innovative growth and official launch at Palm beach, Manzini on July 05, 2024.
