LUJU DEBUT FASHION INDABA A SUCCESS

MALKERNS – The Luju debut Fashion Indaba was a success.

The event took place yesterday (Thursday, August 1, 2024) and it was held at the House on Fire. Fashion Café Curator Phillipa Thorne was among the panellists, while South African personality William Lehong was the moderator of the insightful and engaging Fashion Indaba.

The Fashion Indaba brought together a broad range of stakeholders within the local fashion industry and industry value chain in a series of panel discussions with industry experts from across the Southern African region.

The sixth edition of the Standard Bank Food and Lifestyle Festival will be held from today till Saturday.

From discussions on how fashion brands can grow their businesses to scaling production and design, sustainability, and sourcing in the fashion sector, the session was aimed at empowering the fashion sector to tackle common challenges, reveal growth opportunities, and share knowledge.

It is worth mentioning that the sixth edition of the Standard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival introduced the new Food and Fashion Indaba for the first time since its inception. The dynamic two-day programme will be about capacity development workshops, insightful panel discussions, and knowledge sharing on industry best practices.

The Fashion Indaba was an industry development workshop bringing together various stakeholders in the fashion industry and players at all levels of the value chain to share industry best practices.
