MALKERNS – It wouldn’t be a Makoti celebration without a touch of culture!
The Makoti Festival has unveiled the cultural performances by different traditional groups, which include local and international acts.
This festival is a celebration of culture, creativity, and strength, featuring cultural performances by the Ingwenyama Cup Traditional Dance (Lutsango) Winners Macetjeni Lutsango, Eswatini Broadcasting Information Centre (EBIS) Lutsango, and Eswatini Arts And Culture Lutsango. Sibhaca will also form part of the celebration, represented by Ingwenyama Cup Traditional Dance winners (Sibhaca) Ezulwini Sibhaca.
The international culture fair will include traditional performances by Botswana’s Khumagadi and Moz Fire Sound, as confirmed by the Festival’s Director, Thembinkosi Mthethwa.
The fourth edition of the Makoti Festival will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Malkerns Country Club. Gates will open at 11 AM.
