MALANTI CHIEFS CHAMPIONS PRESENTATION POSTPONED

MBABANE –The much-anticipated champions presentation ceremony for Malanti Chiefs has been postponed over the weekend the event will now take place on the coming week at a later date yet to be announced.

According to the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) CEO, Pat Vilakiti the ceremony was supposed to take place over the weekend as they have already announced it but due to situations beyond their power they were forced to reschedule the event for next week. ” Our programs showed that Malanti Chiefs Champions Presentation celebration might take place over the weekend” said Vilakati

He further mentioned that as PLE they have discovered that the celebration will seem so unfair to other teams hence they had to sit down with sponsors and the team ( Malanti Chiefs) and came to the conclusion that they will present them with their trophy this week. ” When we sat down and looked at things further we discovered that this will seem so unfair to other teams hence we had to agree that the ceremony be spostponed.” Added Vilakati

Vilakati further extended his sincere apologies to all stakeholders for the inconveniences caused. We apologize to our guests and sponsors for the inconveniences caused. Vilakati states.

The ceremony was expected to feature a trophy handover, and speeches from club executives and league officials. Fans had also been preparing for a parade and other celebrations to mark the club’s league title win.

Malanti Chiefs secured the championship after a remarkable season, finishing top of the league table with a consistent string of victories. Their triumph has been widely celebrated in the football community, with many praising the team’s discipline and tactical execution.
