MBABANE – It is official. Ernest Mavuso has been unveiled as the new head coach of Mbabane Highlanders AM Football Club after putting pen to paper on a two-year contract.
The highly experienced tactician joins the black and white outfit with immediate effect, bringing with him a wealth of coaching knowledge and a reputation for instilling discipline and tactical awareness in his squads.
Highlanders, one of Eswatini’s oldest and most decorated clubs, will be banking on Mavuso’s expertise to restore the team’s dominance in local football and to push for silverware in both domestic competitions and CAF tournaments.
Mavuso, on the other hand, wasted no time in assuring the Highlanders’ faithful of his commitment. He promised to build a competitive team capable of challenging for top honors while also developing young talent for the future.
His arrival comes at a crucial time as the club looks to strengthen its technical bench and improve its performances following a rollercoaster campaign last season. With pre-season preparations underway, Highlanders supporters will be eager to see how Mavuso stamps his philosophy on the team.
The Eswatini football fraternity will no doubt be keeping a close eye on the Highlanders as Mavuso begins his new journey at the helm.
