MBABANE– An international recognition in the modelling space!
Founder and CEO of Top Models Eswatini, Mbalenhle Manana, has been invited to be one of the judges for the second edition of the Miss Teen Gaborone, in Botswana.
The pageant will be held at Mantlwaneng Theatre on Saturday (25 January 2025), in Gaborone.
This was confirmed by the beauty contest veteran Manana, who shared with this publication that she leaves for Botswana on Friday. She narrated, “I’m going to Botswana tomorrow for the Second Edition of Miss Teen Gaborone 2025 in Botswana. I have been invited as a Chief Judge,” shared the CEO.
According to Manana, there will be 30 finalists in total who will take part in the pageant. She said, “The pageant, which supports the development of the girl child and empowerment. Also a host from Eswatini Top Models will host that magnificent pageant. We are creating ties with other internationals for the purpose of growing and helping each other nurture the girls,” said Manana.
Her words were echoed by the director of Miss Teen Gaborone, Peggy Modise, who confirmed the pageant.
Manana is not new to international invites, as she was also invited for the Global Change Makers Summit and Award 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, beginning of last year.
Manana shared with this publication that she received a letter inviting her to the summit from Project 100.The summit provided a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and recognition of outstanding efforts in various fields related to possible social change. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, share experiences, and foster collaborations that can further amplify the impact of their work. The invitation letter was signed by Dr. S. N. Pathan, who is the project president, and Dr. Arun Sawant, vice president of Project 100.
