MBABANE – Mbabane is indeed a city of firsts!

In a development that will transform the lives of Mbabane residents, MCM and eBet have announced a groundbreaking sponsorship agreement worth a whopping E2,220,000!

The three-year partnership is set to supercharge local social programs and extend vital support to up to six community centers, boosting nutritional aid and ensuring that essential resources are readily available for those in need.

The launch event, held last week at the Nkwalini Social Centre, drew top government and corporate figures gathered to celebrate this monumental collaboration. The Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, representing the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, joined dignitaries including Mbabane Mayor Thulani Mkhonto, Councillors and eBet leaders, showcasing the power of partnership in driving positive change.

Supercharged: The sponsorship will inject much needed financial muscle into MCM’s social programmes that seek to assist the less privileged in the capital city.

A heartwarming highlight of the event was the immediate support extended to 60 eager pupils! Among them, 11 orphaned and vulnerable children received essential assistance with school fees, while others were gifted with school shoes and uniforms, ensuring that their bright futures are just a step away.

The partnership will assist Council deliver on her promise to nurture sustainable development across Mbabane’s 12 wards.

In a show of unity, the six beneficiary social centers will be adorned in Council and eBet colors, symbolizing their unwavering commitment to uplifting communities in Mbabane. This branding initiative reflects not only a shared vision for social welfare but also a long-lasting promise to nurture sustainable development.
