Mduduzi Ncube, renowned for his hit single ‘Isiginci’, has captured the hearts of fans with his powerful voice and emotive lyrics. His journey to stardom is as compelling as his music. Growing up in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal, Ncube faced significant challenges during his teenage years. At just 15, he fell into the grips of glue-sniffing, leading to a four-year struggle with substance dependence. “I felt lost and disconnected from myself,” he recalled, illustrating the real struggles many young people encounter.
However, a turning point came in 2017 when he received a guitar as a gift, reigniting his passion for music and helping him channel his emotions and experiences into his craft.
Ncube’s talent soon caught the attention of the music industry, and in 2019, he was discovered by the esteemed DJ Tira. This pivotal moment opened doors for him, leading to collaborations and opportunities that would redefine his career. With DJ Tira’s mentorship, he recorded two songs, one featuring the talented songstress **Berita**—a collaboration that showcased his growth as an artist.
