MBABANE– It’s that time of the year!
Media accreditation is now officially open for the highly anticipated seventh edition of the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival, set to take place from 1–2 August 2025.
The media accreditation opened today (17 June 2025) and the deadline for applications is Thursday, 17 July 2025,as confirmed by Festival Director Jiggs Thorne.
Renowned as one of the region’s most vibrant celebrations of African food, fashion, and culture, the Standard Bank Luju Festival welcomes applications from media practitioners representing reputable newspapers, magazines, online publications, radio, television, and news services across Southern Africa. Travel, food, and fashion writers are also encouraged to apply.
All applications must be submitted exclusively via the Media Accreditation page on the Luju Festival website:

Applicants will be required to complete an additional form from Eswatini’s Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology before accreditation is finalised. Please note that spaces are limited, and selection is at the festival’s discretion, so early applications are strongly encouraged.

Accredited media will enjoy:
- Access to press conferences
- Opportunities to request interviews with artists and chefs
- Front-of-stage access for photography and video capture
- Use of the fully equipped Media Hive—a dedicated workspace featuring power, Wi-Fi, and press materials
It’s worth highlighting that Media accreditation does not cover travel or accommodation, unless explicitly arranged in advance. Journalists are urged to secure lodging early, as nearby accommodations fill up fast. Camping and glamping passes are available and may offer a convenient alternative.
