MBABANE – Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Trade, Mancoba Khumalo has taken a significant step in reinforcing public trust and promoting government accountability by declaring his assets to the Commission of Human Rights and Public Administration/Integrity.
This move aligns with Section 241 of the Constitution of Eswatini, which requires all public office holders to submit a written declaration of their properties, assets, benefits, and liabilities, whether directly or indirectly owned.
The declaration comes at a time when transparency in public office is paramount for curbing corruption and strengthening institutional trust. By complying with constitutional obligations, Minister Khumalo has set an important precedent for public officials, demonstrating a strong commitment to ethical governance.
