MBABANE – It’s a date!
The date and venue for the crowning ceremony of Miss Teen Eswatini 2024/25 have been revealed by the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC).
The date for the crowning is August 24, 2024. It will be held at the Siteki Hotel. The event is slated to kick off at 12pm until late. This was confirmed by Miss Teen Eswatini Director Penelope Maziya today, who is also part of the National Pageants Committee, Eswatini. The pageant falls under the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture portfolio.
Maziya shared that there will be 20 contestants in total vying for the title. Five will be coming from the four regions of Hhohho, Manzini, Shiselweni, and Lubombo. The crowning ceremony comes after the regional finals for Miss Teen which kicked off early this year.
It is worth mentioning that Miss Teen Lubombo 2024/2025 was crowned in June at the Siteki Hotel. The queen is Tessie Matsebula, the First Princess is Mayenziwe Nhlengetfwa, and the Second Princess is Sicelimpilo Maziya.
In May, 15-year-old Evelyn Baring pupil Tandzisile Shongwe was crowned Miss Teen Shiselweni. The crowning took place at Shingili Plaas Restaurant in Nhlangano.
Ntsandvoyenkhosi Dlamini was crowned the First Princess, while Nompendulo Ndlela took the Second Princess position.
It is worth noting that nine teens were selected to participate in the Miss Teen Manzini 2024/2025 pageant.
The nine finalists are; Mikaela Rudd, Philiswayinkosi Nkosephayo, Alaiza Mohammed, Siphosethu Vilakati, Siniketiwe Gwebu, Kallyn Bailey, Saziwengaye Dlamini, Sinekhosi Jele, and Sethulelo Nxumalo.
