MBABANE – Minister of Public Service and Maphalaleni Member of Parliament (MP) Mabulala Maseko has endorsed his unwavering support for grassroots football by continuing his sponsorship of the Nsingweni Promotion League.
This was during the Nsingweni Promotion league prize presentation that was held at the Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA) offices in Manzini, on Saturday (July 27, 2024).
Minister Mabulala Maseko emphasized his commitment to nurturing local talent and promoting the sport within the community. He also expressed his gratitude to the Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA) chairman and its executive team for their pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the league.
In a special gesture of appreciation, MRFA Executive member Mduduzi Mtsetfwa awarded the Honourable MP with a certificate of appreciation and a new Sihlangu Semnikati Kit. This recognition was in honour of the MP’s continued support for the league, which has significantly contributed to the development of local football talent.
During the league’s presentation, Tabilan FC, who emerged champions, were presented with the trophy and E4 000 accompanying incentives, marking a triumphant conclusion to a highly competitive season.
As the new season approaches, the continued sponsorship by the Minister promises to further enhance the league, providing resources for competitive opportunities. The Maphalaleni Member of Parliament had announced a E100 000 sponsorship for the Nsingweni Promotion League over a period of five years.
