MANZINI – Gospel music enthusiasts are in for a delightful experience this May as Mpumi Mtshweni, the talented South African artist known for her hit song “Thathi Ndowo Yakho,” has been officially added to the line-up for the sixth edition of the Mother of All Gospel Shows.
The sixth edition of the Mother All Gospel Shows is slated May 10, 2025, it will be held Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre, as confirmed by Mother All Gospel Shows PRO Noma Nhleko.
Mpumi Mtshweni will be joining an impressive array of artists, including:- Sphiwo Ndoni Ndlangamandla: Recently crowned the Best of Africa Artist of the Year 2024 at the Mpumalanga Gospel Awards. Known for hits like “Tivetemhlaba Tikubone” and “Waze Wetsembeka,” Sphiwo’s music is celebrated for its uplifting themes of hope and faith.
Sindi Ntombela: A member of the Spirit of Praise, Sindi has an impressive background, having started singing in church at the age of 12. Notable tracks include “Kunemohluko” and “Akudingwa Sibani.” She has recently gained recognition for her contributions to Spirit of Praise 9 and 10.
Mpumi Mtshweni began her musical journey at the tender age of four, leading worship at her local church, New Life Missionary Church. Her musical talent runs in the family, inspired by her mother. Some of her popular songs include: “Thath’Indawo” “Mawusiqondise (Nang’Mthokozisi)”
The Mother of All Gospel Shows recently conducted its training and elimination session, successfully advancing 25 contestants to the next round. The performances were evaluated by esteemed judges, including gospel artists Banele Dlamini and Mzayoni Tsabedze.
