EZULWINI – MTN Eswatini has concluded its successful three-month Idubukele Promo, which brought smiles and relief to over 450 lucky customers who shared prizes totalling E1.5 million.
The campaign, launched at the end of October 2024, highlighted MTN’s commitment to giving back to its customers while fostering community connections.
Acting Marketing Officer Mandla Gule, speaking at the grand finale on January 27, 2025, emphasized the scope of the campaign’s impact.
“Idubukele has stayed true to its promise of ‘abundance and plenty for everyone.’ We are proud to have made a significant difference in the lives of our customers over the past three months,” he remarked.
The Idubukele Promo featured various prize categories, rewarding customers weekly. Among the winners, 36 customers claimed E3 000 trolley dashes, enabling them to fill their carts with essential goods. This proved especially timely for participants preparing for the festive season and back-to-school expenses.
An additional 300 customers won E500 in weekly cash giveaways, bringing financial relief and smiles to households across the country.
Gule described the prize distribution as a celebration of customer loyalty and MTN’s commitment to its users. “This campaign has allowed us to thank our customers in meaningful ways and strengthen our relationship with them,” he said.
The promo culminated in the much-anticipated announcement of the E200,000 grand prize winner, chosen from three finalists: Thuli Hlathswako, Nyatsi Ndwandwe, and Thulani Masimula. Their participation in the final draw was a testament to the excitement and engagement the campaign generated nationwide.
Gule expressed gratitude to the participants for making the initiative a success. “We are grateful for the enthusiasm and participation from communities across Eswatini and look forward to even greater times ahead,” he said, reaffirming MTN’s dedication to delivering affordable, high-quality services.
