MBABANE– The Ndzingeni Community Under-13 team etched their names in local football history yesterday as they emerged victorious in the Cabana Zonal League championship, defeating Soccer Rose with an impressive 3-1 scoreline in a final.
The event which took place at Esigodlweni sports ground saw Ndzingeni showcasing amazing skills, teamwork, and determination throughout the match, earning cheers from a spirited crowd. From the opening whistle, the team demonstrated dominance, controlling the pace of the game and creating key scoring opportunities. Their efforts paid off with three well-earned goals that left Soccer Rose struggling to catch up. Despite a valiant fight and a consolation goal from Soccer Rose, it was Ndzingeni’s day to shine.

The champions were honored with a gleaming trophy, individual medals for the entire squad, and a special Cabana hamper in recognition of their outstanding performance and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Congratulating the team’s success the Hhohho youth development Senzo Motsa expressed his excitement and gratitude to the sponsors saying that without them ( sponsors) the youth would have not come this far.
“As an Association we are very thankful to Cabana a million times as the kids are being developed in tomorrow’s stars which they will look back and be proud of the opportunity Cabana gave to them and so will Cabana.” Said Motsa.

He further encouraged everyone to support Cabana products as they gives back to the community through their support of sports to the young footballers. “On behalf of Hhohho Regional Football Association, as Hhohho youth development Officer, I encourage everyone to give full support to Cabana products so they can continue to give juniors development the best development they are currently giving to the kids, coaches, teams, referees and the entire football fraternity at large.” Motsa added.
Coaches, supporters, and community members celebrated alongside the team, praising the players’ hard work and dedication. The win not only marks a major achievement for the young athletes but also brings pride to the entire Ndzingeni community.
This victory sets a strong foundation for the future of football in Ndzingeni, and all eyes will be on this talented group as they continue to grow and make their mark in regional and national competitions.
