MBABANE – Gospel powerhouse Nothando Hlophe delivered a breathtaking performance at Mbabane Day, bringing a moment of profound spiritual upliftment that electrified the audience and successfully concluded the main stage festivities.
The grand event, held at Coronation Park, Mbabane on December 6, 2025, took place under the theme of “Cosmopolitan Living,” reaching its zenith during Hlophe’s emotionally charged set and cementing her status as one of Eswatini’s most powerful musical exports.
The renowned Eswatini vocalist captivated the hundreds of attendees who remained at Coronation Park despite the on-and-off rain. Hlophe showcased her distinct voice and powerful stage presence, performing several of her famous hits, including the popular “Methodist Medley” and her chart-topping song, “Sithumela Wena.” The audience, deeply moved by the spiritual energy, were seen singing along with the artist, creating a moment of collective worship that was truly unforgettable. Despite the challenges posed by intermittent rain, the spirit of Mbabane Day 2025 remained high and strong. Under the theme of “Cosmopolitan Living,” Coronation Park was transformed into a vibrant cultural hub. Umbrellas bloomed throughout the park as families, fans, and community members gathered to celebrate the heart of the capital city.
