MBABANE – The National Arts Council Awards (NACA) has invited talented and accomplished artists from across the country to compete in the upcoming NACA Main Awards Ceremony on December 14, 2024.
This was confirmed by NACA Awards Chairman Sipho ‘Bigfish’ Makhabane on Friday.
The Chairman shared that artists had one week for open call which is from October 26 to November 1, 2024.
Musicians to qualify for consideration, artists must meet the following criteria:
• Produced and released more than one album
• Work available on DSP platforms
• Performed at major festivals both local and international
Please submit an EPK, professional photos, and a link to your work on DSP platforms by November 1, 2024 at (12midnight) and stage which categories you are joining.
For Poets, it is required that you have:
• Released or recorded a poem
• Published work.
For Fine Artists, we require that you have;
• Hosted an exhibition or participated in an international exhibition.
NACA is pleased to announce that there are 2 spots available per category in the Main Awards Ceremony for national artists to compete alongside regional winners (4 per region).
