MBABANE – And there were more!
The race to be crowned Miss Eswatini 2024 is getting tighter and more interesting by the day.
Oukitel Eswatini has now unveiled 18 finalists for the most anticipated crowning of the fairest lady in the kingdom this year. According to the Marketing Executive of Oukitel Eswatini Esihle Dlamini, entries to compete in the Miss Eswatini 2024 are still open and will close tomorrow (July 31, 2024).
In April, Oukitel Eswatini partnered with the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture to be the new directors of the Miss Eswatini Pageant.
Meet the more contestants;
Contestant 12
1. Name: Sebakhona Clare Matisa.
2. Age: 18.
3. Home: Zombodze, Manzini.
4. High school completed at: Mbhekelweni Lutheran High School.
5. Hobbies: Currently ventured into cycling and I also play volleyball.
6. Aspirations: I’m planning on securing a brighter future academically as I’m currently a student. Nonetheless, if the opportunity comes, I’d like to pursue my career in the modelling industry and return on the court to play volleyball as it has always been my passion growing up.
Contestant 13
1. Name: Nonkazimulo Nokwazi Bennett.
2. Age: 20.
3. Home: Matsapha, Manzini.
4. High school completed at: Orion High School.
5. Hobbies: I enjoy socialising with others and finding ways to make every moment memorable. Playing netball is a passion of mine. I enjoy the teamwork and competition that comes with it. I am also an avid photographer and love capturing nature around me. I also enjoy exploring new places and trying new things, always eager to learn and expand my horizons.
6. Aspirations: I plan to further my studies. I have a passion for Finance and Accounting and I’m also interested in pursuing a career in Auditing. I also have a strong desire to pursue modelling and pageantry as I believe beauty is more than just a skin deep. By combining these interests, I hope to not only build a successful career, but also use my platform to advocate for causes I care about and make a positive impact in the country and the world at large.

5. Hobbies: I spend my free time fishing, camping, hiking, and my favourite, pattern drafting and sewing.
6. Aspiration: As an Emergency Medical Care student, my aspiration is to become a highly skilled and knowledgeable healthcare professional, who can provide immediate and effective care to those in critical situations.

1. Name: Simphiwe Khumalo.
2. Age: 19.
3. Home: KaKholwane,Shiselweni.
4. High School completed at: Jabez School of Excellence.
5. Hobbies: During my spare time I like watching movies, listening to music and reading novels.
6. Aspirations: I plan to further my studies. Dedicate myself to being successful in my career and as a business woman, and I would love to travel the world.
Contestant 16
1. Name: Simphiwe Owethu Mkhwanazi.
2. Age: 18.
3. Home: Eqinisweni, Shiselweni.
4. High school completed at: Eqinisweni High School.
5. Hobbies: I’m fascinated by beauty. During my spare time I like playing around with my hair, trying new styles and new ideas to come up with a new look. I also like doing make up. I love the fashion and beauty industry.
6. Aspirations: I’m an aspiring Fashion Designer hence my plan to enrol at University of Eswatini UNESWA (Luyengo Campus), where I’ll do Fashion Design. I hope to then further my studies in South Africa, under a mentorship programme of South African Fashion designers. I plan to go as far as hosting my own fashion shows, and draw the attention of well-known celebrities.
