MBABANE – The Government-In-Your-Hand app has been positively received in Eswatini, achieving over 2 000 downloads since its launch last month.
This information was shared by Sakhile Dlamini, an engineer from the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT). The app aims to enhance accessibility and efficiency for citizens needing government services.
It was also revealed that over 200 people already have the apps in their phones. Speaking to Eswatini TV, Dlamini said they wished that more downloads can happen so that people could be able to benefit.
Dlamini said members of the public would now be able to access Government services from the comfort of their homes. The engineer said this would bring more efficiency to the people because previously, they would go to Government offices to do get minor services, which could be obtained even when at home.
