PLE HOPEFUL OF ESWATINI TV LIVE BROADCAST OF MATCHES

MBABANE – With the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) finding itself under a new leadership after the elections of the executive on Saturday, the organisation is hopeful for the live broadcast of the games live on Eswatini TV.

The PLE is in discussion with Eswatini TV for the live broadcast of matches for the 2024/25 season. The PLE is now under the Chairmanship of Polycarp Dlamini with Vice Chairman being Sithembiso ‘Ngudze’ Mamba and members are Sicelo Mkhonta, Bongani ‘Bhanyanza’ Mdluli and Sibusiso Nxumalo.

PLE Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Football Manager Pat Vilakati said they were looking forward to a positive outcome from these discussions with Eswatini TV over the live broadcast of the matches.

Vilakati when addressing the members during the General Assembly that was held alongside the elections said their primary objective of their marketing efforts is to secure sponsorship able to provide monthly financial assistance to all PLE Clubs.

“We urge Clubs to adhere to the match venues prescribed in their Legal Forms to avoid conflict with the Office. We look forward to meeting and overcoming all these challenges before the end of our current season,” he said.
