MBABANE – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has left the country to attend an African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) Forum in Kigali, Rwanda.
The premier left today morning (Tuesday, October 8, 2024) through King Mswati III International Airport. According to information from Eswatini Government, Dlamini will represent His Majesty King Mswati III and the nation at the second edition of the AfCFTA Business Forum, also known as Biashara Afrika 2024.
Held under the theme ‘Dare to Invent the Future of the AfCFTA,’ #BA2024 will bring together African Heads of State and Government, Trade Ministers, African public and private sectors, multinationals and key stakeholders to address challenges and opportunities to unlock intra-Africa trade.
According to the East African Business Council (EABC), this prestigious event will be held at the Kigali Convention and Exhibition Village from October 9-11, 2024, under the patronage of H.E. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda.
According to EABC (eabc-online.com), #BA2024 will offer a dynamic platform for dialogue between African public and private sectors, multinationals, and key stakeholders. The forum will explore the challenges and opportunities in building regional and continental value chains, and establishing reliable supply chain networks—critical to unlocking the full potential of intra-Africa trade.
