MBABANE – The road to glory continues as Police Academy B and Lubombo Police have officially secured their spots in the semi-finals of the National Commissioner’s Cup after securingvictoryin the regional level.
The event hosted under the invigorating theme “Sikhona Sicinisa Umtimba, Umnandzi Umdlalo”, a call to action that emphasizes the importance of physical wellness and unity within the Eswatini Police Services. This annual tournament forms a critical part of the Police Services’ wellness programme, aimed at promoting fitness, health, and morale among officers.

The National Commissioner’s Cup features a variety of sporting codes, including soccer, volleyball, netball, and athletics, drawing together top-performing teams from across the country in a spirit of camaraderie and competitive excellence.
Police Academy B and Lubombo Police have proven their strength and determination on the field, battling through tough early rounds to claim their place in the semi-finals. Their qualification reflects not only their athletic prowess but also their commitment to the values the tournament promotes discipline, endurance, and teamwork.
Speaking to this publication Super intended, Mabamba Mkhwanazi who is also in the organizing committee said that the national Commissioner’s Cup is a wellness program that is meant to promote fitness and healthy living among the Police forces. “These games are meant to promote fitness among the Police stations of each region.”Said Mkhwanazi.
