MBABANE – Inspired by the incredible work of the Methodist Church in Big Bend, Her Royal Highness Princess Temtsimba, through the Kwakitsi Foundation, returned to Bholi Primary School with a renewed commitment to support the community.
After seeing the dedication of local caregivers and educators, she organized a hands-on initiative dubbed “Cooking For the Kids,” aimed at ensuring the students received not just blankets but also warm meals.
Joined by Debbie’s Kitchen, the Kwakitsi Foundation staff, and members of the local community, the team brought food and pots to prepare a nourishing meal for the children and teachers. Over 320 individuals were served, creating an atmosphere of care and unity.
Princess Temtsimba expressed her gratitude to the community and reaffirmed the Foundation’s mission to continue supporting schools across all region. The success of this initiative has laid the groundwork for a broader campaign to engage more schools, ensuring that no child goes hungry. The princess remarked, “This is just the beginning. We aim to expand this effort to other schools and ensure that every child receives the support they deserve.”
The “Cooking For the Kids” initiative serves as a testament to the power of collective action and compassion, as Kwakitsi Foundation continues to inspire and uplift communities across Eswatini.
