MBABANE – The future of golf appears promising, thanks to professional golfers Meshack Zwane and Peter Dlamini, who are nurturing junior talent at Mbabane Golf Club.

The duo conducts training sessions with the juniors every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays morning, imparting the fundamentals of the sport to these future stars. According to the Mbabane Golf Club, the junior participants include children of both golfers and non-golfers.

“The professional golfers at Mbabane Golf Club, who also serve as junior coaches, dedicate their time to mentoring young golfers every Tuesday and Thursday after school, as well as on Saturday mornings, laying a solid foundation for aspiring players,” stated a representative from the club.

Children of golfers and non-golfers alike are integral to this developmental initiative, spearheaded by professional golfers Peter Dlamini and Meshack Zwane.

The future of golf in Mbabane and Eswatini is undoubtedly bright; we anticipate remarkable progress in the years to come,” the statement further elaborated.

Eswatini has produced several top golfers, including Nobuhle Dlamini, who competes on the Sunshine Ladies Tour and the Ladies European Tour (LET), as well as the trio of James Pennington, Brandon-Jude Rennie, and Mandla Dlamini Jr., all of whom are active on the Sunshine Tour, among others.
