REGIONAL TEAMS WIN INSTACASH, PASTORS NEXT ON THE LINE ON SATURDAY

MBABANE – The Instacash Independent League took center stage under the Manzini Region on Saturday and Sunday.

The one day tournaments were played at three venues being Mantshonga Sports Ground for Ngculwini, with the winners being Vuvulane, Stoo Stars won under Mahlangatsha on Saturday (November 9, 2024) while on Sunday, Ngcoseni Peacemakers were champions at Mgazini Sports Ground under Mgazini/ Ngcoseni.

The Instacash football tournaments have been a hit around the country as they have been played almost every weekend since August. The tournament were first played under the Regional FA Cup with all the country regions being Hhohho, Shiselweni and Lubombo featured and now Manzini is playing under the Independent League that is outside the auspices of the football association.

Meanwhile, the mobile money company will on Saturday hosts a Christian Community Wellness Day at Manzini Club,, starting at 1pm.

There are two games to be played with the first one between VOC FC against Gospel Artists at 1pm and then Instacash team will face Pastors at 3pm, on the final match.

“We are inviting pastors, gospel artists, church leaders and the entire Christian community at large to join us for an afternoon filled with sports, fun and meaningful conversations,” reads a statement from Instacash.

Some of the activities will see Instacash educating the Christian community with their funeral cover, explore group policy adoption for churches, customer registration with Instacash team and question and answers session to guide churches on rolling out this initiative.
