MBABANE – Save the date!
Local talent Sbu the Drum DJ, born Sibusiso Dlamini, has officially announced that he will be hosting his one man show on May 31, 2025.
The DJ yesterday shared with this publication that the venue is yet to be confirmed, but he is excited about the date. He said, “Join us for the Sbu De Drum DJ One Man Show. We’re taking it to the next level! You really don’t want to miss this historical event. Stay tuned and get those dance shoes ready!”
When asked about the line-up for the show, he remained economical with details but confirmed it will feature a mix of local artists as well as South African artists. He added, “It will definitely be a great show, something exciting worth looking forward to. Dlamini shared that more updates will be forthcoming in due course.
Notably, this will be DJs second one man show. His first was held during lockdown in collaboration with Destiny at the Xchange Shisanyama in Manzini.
In October of last year, DJ Sbu was among the headliners for an event featuring three prominent South African artists:
– Kabza De Small (Kabelo Petrus Motha), a renowned DJ and record producer.
– DJ Maphorisa (Themba Sekowe), known for his fusion of house music, Amapiano, and Afro-pop.
– Young Stunna (Sandile Fortune Msimango), a popular singer recognized for hits like “Bopha” and “Adiwele,” who has collaborated extensively with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small.
This previous show, dubbed Ocean Summer Vibes, took place at Riders Ranch and was presented by Ocean Cuisine Restaurant and Bar.
Fans are eagerly anticipating what Sbu the Drum DJ has in store for his upcoming one man show, promising an unforgettable experience filled with incredible music and energy.
