MALKERNS – The Makoti Festival continues to expand its influence beyond Eswatini’s borders, drawing international artists and music lovers from across the region. This year’s edition has confirmed a second international act, Mozambique’s renowned Afrobeat sensation, Lizha James.
Festival Director Thembinkosi Mthethwa officially announced the inclusion of the multi-award-winning artist yesterday, highlighting the growing recognition of the Makoti Festival. It is noteworthy that last year, the festival was also launched in Mozambique, strengthening cross-border musical and cultural ties.
With her dynamic stage presence and a fusion of Afro-pop, Marrabenta, and R&B, Lizha James is known for delivering electrifying performances that captivate audiences. Festival-goers can expect an unforgettable experience as she brings her signature sound to the Makoti Festival 2025.
