SIDVOKODVO– Swazi Rally returns with a powerful mix of music, culture, and inclusivity.
This year’s highly anticipated Swazi Rally, taking place from 29–31 August 2025, is set to be an electrifying celebration of music, motors, and unity, and topping the entertainment lineup are none other than South Africa’s multifaceted powerhouse Sibi Pilson and Eswatini’s Afro Blues maestro KingDon.

Belinda Sibongile Pilson, better known as Sibi Pilson, is not just a DJ. She’s a force of nature in the Mpumalanga entertainment circuit, known for her work as a radio/TV presenter, club DJ, MC, content creator, and now, music producer. Her journey is one of resilience and reinvention, overcoming career setbacks post-COVID and embracing her spiritual calling as a sangoma, emerging stronger as #CityGogo.
With singles like “A Kasa Bambeki” (with The House Keepers) and “Emdubane” (with Durban’s DJ Zehny), Sibi is making waves in the Southern African music scene. Her new monthly project, “Sundowners with Sibo”, offers mixtapes and a soon-to-be outdoor day event experience.
Beyond the decks and the mic, Sibi is deeply rooted in social advocacy. Through her Sibo Pilson Foundation, she runs campaigns like Womandla Talks, 67 Dignity Bags, and the Youth In Action Movement, championing mental health, hygiene awareness, and youth empowerment in Mpumalanga.

Eswatini’s very own KingDon brings the timeless depth of Afro Blues to the rally stage. With over 15 years of captivating audiences across Southern Africa, his performances combine soul-stirring originals, traditional African beats, and soulful covers of legends such as BB King, Tracy Chapman, Ray Phiri, Bob Dylan, and many more.
KingDon’s rich sound bridges cultures and generations, making him an ideal act for a platform like Swazi Rally, where heritage meets modern expression.
Entertainment manager Banele Dlamini emphasized the significance of the partnership with Sibi Pilson, saying:
“We’ve been working with Sibi for over two years now, and her impact is undeniable. She’s a respected name in Mpumalanga and a major part of our main act this year. We are proud to have her.”
He added that Swazi Rally has grown with its audience over the years:
“Now in our 32nd year, we’ve listened to our people. Swazi Rally is a biker event with no color lines, black, white, Indian, we cater for all. That’s the beauty of a rally: it promotes brotherhood and welcomes everyone. Some travel from far just to experience this unity.”
