BUHLENI- The 18-year-old artist teams up with Lil Gee & Lyzacks on a heartfelt anthem of resilience and faith.
Rising artist Sibling SD, born Siyabonga Bonokuhle Nkambule from Buhleni under Mayiwane, is preparing to release his highly anticipated single “Izitha Zami” on October 24, 2025. The track features fellow young talents Lil Gee and Lyzacks, combining their unique voices to create a song filled with passion, strength, and meaning.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Sibling SD revealed that the song comes from personal experiences.
“Many people have become our enemies since we started singing music. Some don’t want us to rise up. Instead of focusing on them, we ask God to guide us to concentrate on our future and our lives,” he explained.
The collaboration with Lil Gee and Lyzacks, according to Sibling SD, adds an extra layer of depth and emotion. Their voices, he says, “make the song more interesting and powerful,” turning it into an anthem that not only speaks to personal struggles but also to the collective journey of many young artists.
“Izitha Zami” will officially be released on YouTube, marking another important milestone in Sibling SD’s musical journey. The young artist views this release as a stepping stone toward fulfilling the promise he once made to himself and his mother, to reach new levels in his career and life.
While fans are eager for the drop, Sibling SD hinted that there might be bigger plans in the pipeline, though he could not confirm them yet. He acknowledges that some people may misinterpret the song or even feel it targets them, but insists that its core message is rooted in perseverance, faith, and the pursuit of dreams.
One of the most striking lines from the track, “Wemdali, ngicela ungilalele nami” (Creator, please listen to me too), highlights the spiritual depth and personal appeal of the single.
With “Izitha Zami”, Sibling SD is not just releasing music, he’s sharing a testimony, one that is likely to resonate with many who face challenges on the path to success.
