MBABANE – Sifiso Mabila has officially rejoined Mbabane Swallows’ training sessions after a brief and unexpected dismissal earlier this week, bringing relief to supporters and restoring calm within the club’s camp.
The reinstatement follows internal discussions by club management, who have since offered a public apology to Mabila, his teammates, and the broader Swallows community. The incident, which sparked concern among fans, has now been resolved amicably, with the player returning to the squad on Tuesday.
Club communications officer, Knowledge Ngwenya expressed sincere regret over the situation, emphasizing the club’s commitment to professionalism while acknowledging that mistakes can happen.
“Sifiso Mabila is back at Mbabane Swallows. He was the only captain of the team. I would like to apologize to the athlete, his teammates, and the Swallows family. Sometimes mistakes can happen even under careful watch,” said Ngwenya. “We have now sorted the matter with the player, and we trust in his capabilities.”
Mabila’s return has been met with relief from both players and fans, who view the resolution as a testament to the club’s ability to swiftly address internal challenges and maintain unity within the squad.
As Mbabane Swallows resume full preparations for upcoming fixtures, Mabila’s presence is expected to bolster morale and bring renewed focus to the team’s campaign.
