‘SIKHALI’ AMONG 21 SIHLANGU PLAYERS TO FACE ZIMBABWE IN BOTSWANA

MBABANE – The National Football Men’s team, Sihlangu Coach Zdravko Logarusic has travelled with 21 players to face Zimbabwe in Botswana in the CAHN first leg qualifiers.

The team that left the country on Thursday for Francistown, Botswana include Green Mamba’s striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa who was not part of the team that played against Mozambique in the AFCON Qualifiers early this month.

The team was bid farewell by the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) President Peter ‘Samora’ Simelane and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederick Mngomezulu on Thursday at the Lobamba Technical Centre.

The first leg match will be played on Sunday (October 27, 2024) at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium, kick-off 3pm with the second leg on November 2, 2024 at Mbombela Stadium, South Africa.

Some of the travelling players include Nsingizini Hotspurs Thubelihle Mavuso who scored in the 10all draw against Mozambique, goalkeeper Green Mamba’s Xolani Gama and Mlungisi Nxumalo.

Others are Sandile ‘Saviola’ Gamedze, Philani Mkhontfo, Bongwa Matsebula, Sifiso Matse who is set to Captain the team and Junior Magagula among others.
