MBABANE- Gospel artist Simiso Simelane is poised to release a powerful new worship single titled “Worthy is the Lamb”on September 30, 2025. This heartfelt track is designed to inspire listeners to enter a space of genuine worship, both individually and collectively.
“Worthy is the Lamb” serves as a tribute to the majesty and faithfulness of Jesus Christ, celebrating His love, mercy, and sacrifice. Simelane describes the song as a poignant reminder of Christ’s incomparable worthiness, encouraging believers to reflect deeply on the One who saved humanity from sin. He emphasizes the boldness of the song’s praise, highlighting its rhetorical question: “Who is like you?” This underscores the belief that no one compares to Jesus. Ultimately, the song aims to lift voices in honor of the Lamb who has given life, hope, and victory.
The creative process behind the single was both simple and inspired. Simelane recalls a moment of divine inspiration while walking toward his favorite spot by the pool. “Creating this song was not complicated; I was gracefully walking to the pool area where I spend most of my days, and God gave me the sound,” he revealed. After singing the melody, he recorded it and later confirmed its message through scripture. When he shared the song with his Music Director, the response was overwhelmingly positive, leading to a live recording at Zakhele FEA Old Auditorium. Collaborating with gifted musicians, Simelane successfully blended Christian Contemporary worship with elements that make the song suitable for both congregational singing and personal devotion.
Simelane encourages everyone to stream “Worthy is the Lamb” once it becomes available on all digital platforms.
