MBABANE – In the vibrant heart of Mbabane, a unique musical voice is rising, resonating not just with sound, but with spirit. Siphesihle Mziyako, known by her stage name Siphesihle, is a young artist on a mission to inspire and heal through her spiritual Amapiano and house music.

Originally from Mnyokane and raised in Manzana, Mbabane, Mziyako’s journey into music began in high school. Encouraged by peers and hostelmates who praised her voice, she started gaining confidence and eventually met her mentor, Msimisi Magongo, who recognized her talent and helped her step into the music scene. “I gradually began to realize that I had something special,” she recalls, a spark that led her to perform at venues like Mega Lounge (now Azul Lifestyle) and collaborate with local producers.

Though Mziyako has no formal musical training, her passion for songwriting blossomed from her love for poetry. She views music not just as a career but as a tool for personal healing. “Through music, I find solace and strength,” she says. “I want to tell my story in a way that helps others find healing and transformation.”

What sets Mziyako apart is her deep focus on spirituality. “My music is an extension of my soul,” she explains, “rooted in faith and designed to offer comfort, empowerment, and connection to the divine.” Her work isn’t just about entertainment; it’s a sacred responsibility, a message of faith and purpose.

Currently, she is working on new material with South African Amapiano DJ and producer Tumelo Manyoni (Talksiqzbiya), despite the financial challenges she faces. “These opportunities ignite my determination,” she says, “and reminds me that progress is within reach.”

Drawing inspiration from artists like Ami Faku and Phila Dlozi, Siphesihle is focused on blending local and South African sounds, while connecting with her audience through live performances and social media.

For her, the journey is about more than music—it’s about leaving a legacy rooted in authenticity, faith, and resilience. Her message to aspiring artists: “Stay true to your purpose, embrace rejection, and trust divine timing. Your journey is greater than fame.”
